Client Brief
This laundry renovation involved the demolition of a larger existing space to accomodate a new staircase for a second storey. The client wanted to utilise as much of the space as possible, so we created a galley style laundry, with full custom Australian Made cabinetry on both walls and floor. The open shelves against the terrazo look kitkat tiles created a stunning feature along with the black tapware and trough. Easily accomodating both washer, and dryer, another space saving feature was the installation of 2 pull out laundry hampers (1 large and a 2-in-1 hamper). These keep the space clear, and organised. The space under the stairs was finished with the same floor tile and a custom solid wood door – this area was allocated as the pets sleeping quarters. We loved this project, and it proves that whatever the size, or shape, we can always assist in creating a functional and stylish laundry room.
