Client Brief
For this project our clients were seeking to add a separate ensuite to their home by utilising the space from the house bathroom. The existing layout had a dated dual entry room with a bath, shower and vanity which wasn’t an enticing space to be in. To achieve our clients brief, we created a wall partition which allowed room for a house bathroom (complete with WC, bath with shower and a vanity) and created a small, but beautiful, ensuite (complete with walk in shower, vanity and WC). Natural light, in both rooms, and floor to ceiling tiling added to the sense of light and space in both areas.
In the newly created Ensuite, storage was a necessity, so a neat wall hung vanity, with an inbuilt hand towel rail and a mirror cabinet added were the perfect solutions. Accents of brushed brass tapware and accessories added a modern and stylish element complimented by the Tasmanian Oak finish of the cabinetry.
The House Bathroom space had the same tiles and tapware but with a matte black finish which contrasted beautifully against the vanity top and bath.
