Client Brief
We redesigned a dated 1980’s purple, gold and cream room to a modern, coastal space with a new door coming straight off the pool deck. This young family in Mount Martha wanted to create a practical space for quick showers but it also had to compliment the style of the living area, which it came off internally. By changing the door to a slider and then installing a new external door, off the deck, the space of the room was transformed. Keeping the tones simple and easy to maintain the client’s other requirements included storage and places to hang wet towels. By installing a wall hung tallboy and several robe hooks and towel rails we were able to create a really functional wet room that didn’t disappoint aesthetically. A large shower niche, an inset cistern for the WC and a round mirror all contributed to this coastal vibe design which our clients loved.
